When you invest in our mission by giving a gift to VOBS, you are making a difference with long term impact. A gift today makes it possible for more people, regardless of economic circumstances, to experience nature based education that develops confident, compassionate and resilient leaders who not only change their life, but also the lives of those around them.
If you are a new VOBS donor, welcome! If you’ve given in the past, thank you! Please consider increasing your investment or contributing monthly to help sustain VOBS for years to come.

“I would not only recommend the experience of Outward Bound, I would insist upon it. If it weren’t for my experiences in the wilderness, really starting with Outward Bound, I don’t know where I would be. I don’t know what kind of person I would be. I don’t know that I could have ever achieved the things I’ve achieved in my life, and I certainly wouldn’t have passed those things on to my children. As teachers, as parents, as community members, we’ve got to figure out a way to get more kids out into the wilderness because it changes them forever!”
~ Chris Coleman, VOBS Alum, Former Mayor of St. Paul
“It feels good to support students of all ages who are pushing themselves, and learning teamwork and leadership. Increasing your support is a way to ensure that VOBS can continue to reach more people who can benefit from an Outward Bound experience.”
~ Lisa Wong, VOBS Donor and Alum
“As philanthropy became something I was financially capable of, I wanted my philanthropic dollars to follow my life and reflect my values.”
